Valerie Bertinelli
Valerie Anne Bertinelli, born on April 23, 1960, is an American actor. Her first recognition came in her adolescence, playing Barbara Cooper Royer on the sitcom One Day at a Time (1975-1984), for which she took home two Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film. She subsequently earned adult stardom as Gloria on the Christian drama Touched by an Angel (2001-2003) and Melanie Moretti on the sitcom Hot in Cleveland (2010-2015) in which the latter earned her an Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. The actress was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2012.
Bertinelli was signed to a new contract with Food Network in December 2021. She hosts many shows for Food Network such as Valerie's home cooking (2015-2023) and the Kids Baking Championships (2015-present). The first received the show two Daytime Emmy Awards out of six nominees. The show premiered in December of 2021. Bertinelli signed a new deal to Food Network.Bertinelli was the wife of music producer Eddie Van Halen from 1981 to 2007, with whom she had one son, Wolfgang. Tom Vitale was her husband from 2011 until 2020.
